I apologies if this post is in the wrong discussion, I'm urgently seeking answers to a lot of Astral Projection questions that have been stuck in my head for quite a while now, and I haven't had much luck in finding what I perceive to be the correct answers or advice. All the other AP forum sites wouldn't let me post because my accounts are still awaiting activation from admins (Even after weeks!) :-\

I'll try to keep this post as short as possible because I do have a lot of questions to ask and a story to tell that will help you understand my current situation, and why I'm asking such questions in the first place...

The thing is that theyâre not 66 different techniques. Theyâre the same technique with 66 slight variations. Well, that is, the ones that you do while consciously awake. There are ones listed where you initiate them from a lucid awareness experience in the non-physical.

Itâs a great write-up and all, but I think itâs more important for people to understand WHY each of those techniques work.

Point is with ending of cycles, people think of an ending. And an end means destruction or does it? Why would an end means destruction. But then is there an end, there is no end, just a continuation of life, of spirit of lessons to be learnt.

Problem with the "doom thinking" is that if many people believe this something could actually happen, because of the power of the thought of something destructive could happen in the future. This thought can influence the reality and create a different future than when no one was thinking about a destruction.
The power of thought is in many cases underestimated. If you know how lucid dreaming world reflects your thoughts/wishes you could imagine how our reality responds to our thoughts also.

I see many websites promote "masturbation" for good health and for many good things. The only benefit sex or masturbation have in regards to astral projection or meditation are that these tend to release sexual tension and reduce distracting erotic thoughts. I see more difference between the real sex and the masturbation, Masturbation generates a more negative energy but however sex between two people who have a love for each other generates a third energy which is beneficial for both.

I am a Christian as well, and it is believed by most Christians that the Rapture will happen on a day that is completely unknown to mankind. Personally, I believe no one knows when the Rapture is, and maybe this event is some kind of prophecy in some other religion that I am not sure of(it probably dates back centuries that people have believed this).
