Hello Ira, Yes you are on the right track. Just try to ignore those uncomfortable things by staying calm, so that you can astral project easily.

Feeling lost and ineffective!

Hi Nick, I'm sorry for responding late.

There are many techniques out there, all you need to do is find the one which works for you. The technique which works for me may not work for you.

If you feel like you are trying to astral project for a long time without any improvements, I recommend you to start with lucid dreaming.

To lucid dream, all you need is just a dream journal and reality checks. Once you start getting more and more lucid dreaming, you can simply think of your body lying on the bed to experience sleep paralysis and you can use exit techniques to exit your body after that.

Hope this helps.

Seeking advice

Thanks for the reply & comment on structure of my post. I think it's fair if I present things a bit organized and put some effort in it, if I expect someone to put their own time and effort in the answer/ response.

I've been thinking about associating bed with sleep too. But I came to some problems. I live basically in 1-room appartment, and don't have much space: ofc I have a desk and chair, but meditating on same chair would not be efficient and couter-work-productive. I'm realizing the problem with the bed, but so far I need to stick with it.

I will stick with 2 tries per day.

"spinning in 180"- in fact, I started with this technique the day I posted the 1st post. I was experiencing this feeling often in the past (years ago), and I managed to get it back now in the 2nd try of trying to project. Also found it useful for...(continued)

I'm trying to astral project but can't.

Suzie said it all, you just have to keep trying and work with different methods, see what works and what doesn't, this way you can mix up steps and create your own technique.

Any more doubts and we'll try to help in the best way.

Did I astral project?

Hello Dylan, sorry to hear that you've had these terrible things happen to you.

You didn't explain what technique you used, so from the way you've told, I don't believe you projected. You see, reading your explanation, all I could picture was you lying in bed in a dark room. You said you opened your eyes and saw shadow figures.

One thing that might have happened is sleep paralysis. When people are fearful and try to project, and by chance get sleep paralysis, is very common for them to have terrifying hallucinations. In fact most of people report seeing shadow figures.

Now, it doesn't mean that only because you were paralyzed they can't be real. There's a good chance they were, since you reported they swiped energy off of you.

Rather than learn how to heal after an encounter with an evil entity, the best would be how...(continued)

Astral projection

Oh,my. The act of only counting your breath takes away the spontaneity of the experience and turns it into a purely mechanical activity.

It requires deep relaxation and focus to keep awareness in a way that you won't make too much effort, for that could also ruin the attempt.

It really doesn't matter what kind of technique you use or even if you made your own, the one thing that is crucial ,is relaxation, without it, you will never be able to project.
