The problem so many people have with Astral projection is letting go and the fear of the whole experience. You need to be able let go of everything that attaches you to your psychical for each little thought you have (Oh my heart is beating fast, my breathing doesn't seem right, my back is starting to hurt, is that my cat I hear coughing up a hair ball) can all hold you to your psychical body.
Relaxation is a big key to achiving astral projection (I'm sure you have heard this 100 times) and yes it is true, but you most learn to relax in a way that keeps your mind of off the psychical body. Instead of focusing on the relaxion of your body focus more on letting go. Take all your thought off of your body and focus it outside (that's where you are trying to go isn't it) I find it best to focus on something you know is outside...(continued)

I know I am replying too late..
You may encounter if you are entering with negative thoughts or with fear.
but they can't do anything with it, They can do nothing more than just grabbing your energy and sending you back to your body with exhausted feeling. Just enter with good thoughts and without fear. there is nothing to fear in astral plane :)

Hi Lostlight, welcome to the forum :)

A well laid out article about your experiences and its really nice to read :)

I would like to give you some advice before I start answering your points :)
Firstly, Keep in mind that nothing will happen to your while you are in astral plane or whatever you experience while you are in sleep paralysis. Books which you have read is all their own experiences and it may or may not help for others.
People say don't pay attention to your body while you are in sleep paralysis, but I say you have to pay attention on your light body because you only experience your light body while you are in sleep paralysis and not your physical body.

Lets start:
1. The thing you have mentioned is sinking and pulling effect, you must pay attention to it and you must increase the intensity of it. Which will...(continued)

Anyone having this problem?!

Yup, many people has, It is actually a distraction from our mind which tries to avoid sleep paralysis :)
Our mind has always tried to avoid sleep paralysis, astral projection, lucid dreaming and all related phenomenon from the beginning.
so, we must practice more till our mind accepts that astral projection, sleep paralysis and all related to it is good :)

It's just your mind which is giving you the itching feel, just try to avoid and concentrate on other part of your body, so the itching disappears :)

IM only 13 years old now is safe for me to do the astral Project

Greetings,

First of all, welcome to our forums :)

I would like to tell you, its IMPOSSIBLE for you to not return to your body!! Our main problem in astral projection is that you return to your body very fast, people train for years so they dont return fast.

You dont need to worry about such thing, you will be back to your body no matter what happens, the only moment that you cant return is when you die in real life :)

Anyways, if you want to start astral projecting, i advice you to read about exit techniques first, after that head instantly to (( Astral Projection Devastating Posts)) topic at the page home, you can astral project in one day! :)

If you have any more questions please feel free to ask here, we will be very glad to help you out :)

Best regards,
Salah.

Safe travels!

To astral project while lucid dreaming..

I know this is an obvious question but I was wondering how easy is it though... ive been getting some lucid dreams lately and find that it would be much more easier for myself to just astral project while i am in my lucid state since I seem to meditate at night which is obviously too hard for an obe, i usually lucid dream in the morning and it is beautiful... taking flight is an awesome feeling!!

thanks for ur opinions :) well appreciated H.T

Hello everyone.

First time post, in need of a little advice

A little background about me first I guess.

I have always been a vivid and regular dreamer. I remember at least one of my dreams a night and I am able to recall the dream in great detail. I have always been fascinated by my dreams and treat them as an adventure. Sometimes I will even just go and have a nap when I am bored because I know full well that my dreams will be a damn site more interesting that whatever I am doing at the moment.

My dreams have always provided my me and my friends with great amusement.

I have started keeping a dream journal and thought about setting up a blog to share my experiences.

I never really looked into what they could mean or what I was experiencing at times but recently a friend of mine mentioned lucid...(continued)
