Am I Close?

I just want to know if i'm on the right track or doing it wrong, I need guidance so I don't develop any bad habits. I start by thinking to myself that I am not my physical body, and envisage just lifting my head up off the pillow multiple times, and then lifting my legs up and then waving my arms and then arching my back. As time goes on i'm almost screaming in my head and I am literally writhing across my bed trying to roll out of my body. And then I try to focus on opening my eyes, and my eyes start to clench up and dart around, and then my chest starts tensing and then shaking, and then my whole body is shaking and then I realise that my heart is pounding, but not in my chest, in my stomach. And then nothing. I'm expecting some _"there is no right or wrong method" but I just need to know if i'm close. Was this the vibrational state or just me having a bit of a fit? And if so, how can I progress?

Hey, just calm down my dear friend. You seem to be so scared of few thing or might be you are forcing to astral project. Which is wrong. All the things which you have mentioned are very normal things which happens while you astral project. Next time when you feel all these, just remember the mantra "Keep calm", when you stay calm, you can focus more to roll out of your body blush

Hi Cameron, Anotony is right. You just have to calm yourself next time when you are in vibration, the things which you have mentioned are all normal. We all have felt the same things when we started doing astral projection.

I'm sorry you're having issues. I am too. I actually haven't had success with an exit but I've gotten really close. I find it a lot easier to get to where I'm close when I go into it with the mindset of "if it happens it happens", when I have that mindset I always get close. I try not to force it. It's like anything in life, if you force it, it will escape you. Just relax & just see what happens. I've researched & read a lot about AP & everything I've read says relaxation is key. So far what's gotten me really close is to relax, laying absolutely still until I induce sleep paralysis & then I imagine I'm on a swing, swinging front to back. That's when my heart starts to race. At first that freaked me out. But now I just relax & breathe through it knowing it's just a sign I'm close to exit. It's not your physical heart that's pumping, it's your heart chakra firing up & building up energy. Through the entire experience you have to remain relaxed & focused 100%. I have yet to feel any vibrations myself, I did at one time experience my arms & legs shaking. Like the shaking you might get when you're holding up something heavy. But I don't think that was vibrations. Honestly, I feel like the shaking is just something that happens when you're trying too hard. But don't get discouraged I'm sure everyone else, like us, had these things happen when they first started trying to AP. You'll get there. What works for one person may not for another. You'll come to find your working strategy though. I'm new to it, & on the same journey too, so I completely understand what you're dealing with.
