Hi! I've been reading up on astral projecting and I am not sure if it's lucid dreaming or astral projecting. I've been having dreams that feel like they're actually happening. While having these dreams I know that they are happening which makes me think it's lucid dreaming, however, I've had some really bad encounters. The other night in a dream I think I had a "dream" in my room in my bed in the exact spot where an "evil" spirit was trying to like sexually harass me I guess (this sounds so weird), I "woke" up and my legs were opened. I also had sleep paralysis where I saw my own body on the bed (but my pov was like the ceiling) and I saw my body get dragged off the bed. Can you explain your experience for me? I need to know what it feels like, from when you vibrate all the way to when you come back to your body. What type of abilities did you have?

hi I'm new to astral projection. been practicing alot. but the furthest I've reached is the vibration state and seeing a bright white light behind my eyelids, then nothing. can't seem to go beyond that point. any recommendations from there?

I went through my bed and floor a couple nights ago. It felt exactly like in the stars.

In projection, Usually there’s a force that pulls me out of my room, through the ceiling and to a particular star where the journey unfolds and I’m shown something important. I can resist the force if I want, and go a different direction, though If I do this I feel like I missed out on something important.

In the rooms under the floor, there was also this same force. It guided me toward items in the room. I suppose if I went into an item a world would unfold and I’d be shown something, just as in the stars.

I once heard that you shouldn’t go downward, through the floor. It was this thought that made me resist entering an item once I got down there. But oh how I keep wondering what I missed.

While Meditating before astral projecting, I often see visions of spirits that are around me. When I start, I always try to visualize the love, and the light of Jesus, flowing through and around me, breathing in and out. Afterwards, sometimes, during my breathing, while I stare into the darkness, I get glimpses of crazy stuff. Things that My imagination couldn’t possibly make up. A couple of weeks ago, I saw a dark image. It’s large black vertical eyes took up its entire cold white face. It had a small round mouth, I suppose to suck dark energy from its victims. Seeing this kinda took me out of the mood. I suppose I need to say my protection prayer more often. I drew a picture of this thing. Sounds like you were quite the astral projector as a child! My experiences involve moving through realms via rooftops and ceilings too actually. There are really a lot of layers involved in these transitions, aren't there? Like how you had the realization you're dreaming, and then you move out of it, to your room, which is another kind of in-between realm.

If you were uncomfortable with the knowledge you were dreaming (actually, I can see how this could be uncomfortable for a kid-because no one talks about it in daily life, so it seems like it's not supposed to happen and like the world turned upside down) then I would guess that the "WHAT ARE YOU DOING" was your minds own mechanism for waking yourself up -especially if you were back in your room and can here some people talking. I have been praticing it from the last 5 days. And today was the 5th attempt. My experience: 1. A sensation like slowly vibrating. 2 .My body did get a little heavy. 3. Back side of head started paining a little. 4. It felt like my head tilted on the left side but i dont if it was true. 5. I had these visuals and figures and quickly changing shapes while my eyes were closed with a blue color lightning sortof figure. 6. I could feel my body relaxed as i in beginning i could hear my heart beating then i slowly stopped hearing it.

I dont know what it was. It goes on for one hour but felt like 10-15mins.

Any suggestions ??

From lucid dreams I’ve been projected instantly. I was hopping on rooftops, then suddenly went through a roof, through all layers of the earth, out the other side, shot into space and became a star. That all happened instantly, like something sucked me right out of my dream.

Sounds like sleep paralysis, which can often happen when leaving your body. You were probably headed in the right direction but you woke up out of fear. I’ve entered the astral plane through sleep paralysis. You have to face the fear head on, challenge the creature/ man thing. And your sister felt it, are you sure? Well my gf said she felt me shaking once when I had sp...and a couple other times our dreams have overlapped. Perhaps two people can share sp too. If it was sp, I mean. hmm...did you feel paralyzed?
