Posted over 7 years ago , by Believer

Hey guys Im new here. I never experience anything special. But I lucid dream a lot. And once I entered the vibration stage. BUT thats it. I freaked out and woke up -bcs I was not intrested in astral projection back then.

I have tried listening to binaural beats, it worked on the first week but the effect reduced a whole lot.

Now Im trying to meditate. For astral projection. I literally dont know where to start and what to do. Do I sit with eyes closed? What do I think about? Nothing? And how do I can manage my mind to not thinking , so please HELP. Would mean a lot!!!!!

I've been trying to AP for almost a year but managed to get only spontaneus partial once.

Along with that, I've been quite successful with meditation, even though I'm not practicing as often as someone may think.

When you're doing meditation for AP, you would need to do it lying down (or chair, where you can completely relax your muscles without slight possibility to fall). You will need to learn how to meditate, because you need to learn how to control your thoughts. There are several techniques how to meditate.

Instructions for mindless meditation:

When you try to meditate you can't fail. If you think the time spent meditating is wasted, you're not trying.

Take first 3 minutes to get in a comfortable position. Check for any things that may cause itching over time (they can increase for like x30 times). By taking enough time at the start you may save yourself a lot of problems that may come later. This may cause many problems when you try to meditate for the first time. When you try to meditate for over 20 mins, expect to hit the itching problem. When you're experienced enough, deal with it the same way as you deal with thoughts, but if you can't bear it, scratch yourself and go on like nothing happened.

My recommended time is 10 minutes at minimum. Meditating is relaxation of your body and mind (no matter how much corny it may sound), but it's not resting. And of course, you must have eyes closed and be at a place where you won't be disturbed.

Now, the thoughts.

When you relax and decide to be physicaly still, your mind will understand it as being the perfect time to think. But of course, it is not! The ultimate goal is to be present in the moment without analyzing anything. But, you will soon get thoughts regarding your life, like: - What happened at the party last night? - Did I do that thing right? - What are my plans for today?

It is normal for it to happen. What you must do is notice that you started thinking and it's not the best time to do it. Let it go. Think about each thought as a cloud and watch it move & disappear in the distance. Do it every and each time it happens.

Now, your mind will bring up topics that will scream "urgent!" and "now!". Again, let it go. It can wait. Now, you meditate and you will do it for the next XX minutes. You can do nothing about it right now. Just let it go.

Now, your mind will figure out you're not interested about real life. And it will start playing songs, or repeating words/ sentences, like: "Let it go. Cloud. Let it go. Cloud. Let it go. Cloud." Now, think about the point of your third eye location (somewhere in the middle of your eyes, between eyebrows). The moment you notice the thought, think about touching it with your fingertip.

Now, what are you trying to focus on? The best thing is /nothing/. Just be. But if you can't do this, try one of these you're comfortable with: - your breathing - your heartbeat - blackness you see - third eye spot - clock ticking - particular spot in the room And don't forget: don't analyze it. You're just observing things that are happening right now.

Don't forget to set the timer so you won't need to worry about how much time has passed. With practice, when the alarm goes off, you will be able to observe the alarm without the need to do anything about it. Just interesting fact blush

Hope it helps!
