Could you please try feeling heavier and sinking into the bed or becoming lighter and floating upward? Not as something taking effort, but gradually imagining what it could be like. So that you don't start adding tension to your body. When you imagine an activity, your brain starts to prepare the nerves and muscles in advance. They can measure electrical signals. You may be losing ground with your relaxation and trance.

Hi! I've been reading up on astral projecting and I am not sure if it's lucid dreaming or astral projecting. I've been having dreams that feel like they're actually happening. While having these dreams I know that they are happening which makes me think it's lucid dreaming, however, I've had some really bad encounters. The other night in a dream I think I had a "dream" in my room in my bed in the exact spot where an "evil" spirit was trying to like sexually harass me I guess (this sounds so weird), I "woke" up and my legs were opened. I also had sleep paralysis where I saw my own body on the bed (but my pov was like the ceiling) and I saw my body get dragged off the bed. Can you explain your experience for me? I need to know what it feels like, from when you vibrate all the way to when you come back to your body. What type of abilities did you have?
hi I'm new to astral projection. been practicing alot. but the furthest I've reached is the vibration state and seeing a bright white light behind my eyelids, then nothing. can't seem to go beyond that point. any recommendations from there?
I don’t leave from this meditation state everyone is always struggling with. I’ve only had success with that once. What I do is find a portal in dream. Usually it’s someone that comes to get me, or often it’s a ceiling or rooftop. Once I collide into it I’m instantly in my room leaving my body, no effort. The astral world is the most ‘real’ or clear and complete world. This physical world is similar to a cage, limited. And the dream world is in between. Much easier from in between.
I had a similar experience when I was about 12. I saw two of my cousin. She was in the living room but she was also in her bedroom. My reaction was to run to my aunt and tell her. I started crying and she must have thought I was scared but really I just didn’t have words to convey the intensity of the situation, wanted the adults to know I was serious. It must have appeared that I was scared but really I just wanted them to pay attention cause it was serious. On that note my suggestion would be to talk about it, tell him it’s special, listen to him and help him form his own idea of what it was.
