My lucid dreams include visits from the departed.

I have had many experiences with lucid dreaming over the years, and they have now increased in frequency since my husband has made his transition 14 months ago.

I feel very blessed to be able to recognize that he is indeed visiting me while I am asleep and have conversations with him knowing that he is no longer a physical being but a spritual being.

I have had dream visits from my dad, mother in law, cousin and aunts where I become lucid and we get to chat in real time.

Has anyone else been visited by their departed?

Hi Michelle, I recently had a similar dream, but I was not lucid, where I was visited by my paternal uncle who passed away several years ago. He is the only one who actually visits in our family members dreams often.

I dream of my husband, and then there are the lucid dreams where it is an actual visit from him and other family members. I love when that happens as it is a way to be with your departed again.

Sometimes he comes in a regular dream and then the next morning I wake up and apologize to him because it is like you are still married and I have nagged him to close the bathroom door or something silly like that. The next morning I will say, I am sorry I did not become lucid in the dream, I know you were tryng to come through...lol.
