Well, I just had a fairly strange experience. I took an afternoon nap, but when I woke up, I noticed my body felt like it does when I'm out of body. Almost instantly my feet started floating towards the ceiling, once I had this thought. Since my head was really heavy and not floating I closed my eyes, and imagined the feeling of jumping off a swing which made my whole body float. (I was in my bedroom) Then i was just swimming around trying, but failing :( to swim through the ceiling. I felt so close, but i couldnt get to the other side (my roof).
Concentrate more and believe that you can do It :)
OR, if you want to get out of your home, just walk to your main door and open the door as usual you open door in reality :)
I often try this, I was also trying the same things, trying to pass through ceiling and windows etc., But it started reducing my energy and I used to struggle or I used to get back to my body. But when I tried opening the door technique it worked :)
So, I recommend you to try this rather than passing through hard objects :)
Silly me. I did notice it takes a lot of energy willing myself to defy physics. Next time I will use the door.
Is it pretty easy to use your hands? During this past experience, I pressed my cheek onto my cold bedroom window (though it wasn't even the same shape as my real window) and it felt very solid. And I was trying to use the crown molding to push myself out through the ceiling..but that was the first time I was consciously touching things in a projection.
It was also my first time I became conscious after I was already out of my body. I don't know what it was. Would you call that lucid dreaming, or projection? I have never been a lucid dreamer, I've had many false awakenings but never knew it until I woke up for real. I have, of course been practicing exiting methods while in paralysis, and this felt very similar, though I didn't keep getting pulled back into my body. I was in less of a hurry.
All in all it was a very nice experience. I've never enjoyed sleeping like I have lately!
Ya its pretty easy pull or push a door, Only this is you should believe you can do it :)
I remember something, someone said me that, Even the lucid dream is also an Astral Projection. Where the person will not know that he is projected and thinks that he is lucid dreaming :)
So, if you think its lucid dream, its lucid dream, But if you thinks its Astral Projection, It is It :)
Everything depends on your belief :)
Lucid dreams are easy to control , actually use what ill say , in lucid if you want to fly for example and you dont know how , then fear that you will fly!! Fear as much as you will cry and you will see yourself flying easily!! Some lucids i have was seeing a zombie runnings toward me , i was like..shit what will i do!!! , i know its lucid but still was scary as he was running!! I got afraid that im powerful and i feared myself more and more and then i saw myself having darkness wings as ((tekken game )) in devil jin :P , so its all about your mind , if you cant then just fear and it will work totally ^^
