Rings of Saturn and Precog dreams

Posted almost 12 years ago , by Palmer Eldritch

Alright guys, hope everyone is well.  This is my first post and, initially, I'd like to keep it as an open question.  Has anyone been to the rings of saturn in lucid dreaming or astral projection?  As an experiment, I wouldn't mind hearing other people's experiences.

Also, I am thinking a lot of people here must also have dreams that are mildly (or strongly) precognitive, in that certain dreams occur the next day, in all sorts of forms.  This is something that I think happens with a lot of people.  I do have a theory regarding this, but I'd like to hear other people's ideas regarding this phenomena.  Particularly, has anyone managed any kind of technique to strengthen this kind of phenomena - or a technique that can make it become truly valuable.

As brief as I've been, I'm really curious to hear what other people's thoughts are on these questions.

Hi Palmer, Welcome to the forum,

I apologize for the late reply. I have had few precognitive dreams. It was so realistic but I ignored it for the first time, when the same thing repeated in the reality after few days I realized that. I would say that I traveled through time into the future.

So you have a theory regarding this ?
Can you pls explain that, If you don't mind ?

Regards,
Praveen

Palmer-Eldritch, I'm Here for Inner Awakening

I have only just checked in to see for replies, forgive my late response.

Everyone has these dreams, I have since realised that merely keeping a dream journal would enhance what already happens.

As for the theory - one of the "reality checks" that are commonly done to check if one is dreaming or not (in order to lucid dream) is to look at a clock.  I tend to look at a clock, read the time, look away, and look straight back at the clock (while dreaming).  The clock will then read a completely different time, or sometimes the clock will be spinning completely out of control. Keeping this in mind, I tend to dream of things that have happened in the past, the present and the future...  Taking this all into account, the theory is becoming quite clear.  Time is not linear like we experience in our conscious lives.  In a dream, you might be there for five minutes, but when you wake, it seems like hours you were in this reality.  Looking at clocks in dreams, etc.  It doesn't work as we would expect it to.  What we experience while we dream therefore is not a linear perception of time - it is EVERYTHING past, present and future.  Nothing in our dreams is guaranteed, it is merely a possibility or a perception of something.  If I dream of something that will happen tomorrow, it might not happen, but I can make that dream come true quite easily, or even subconsciously.  I can avoid disasters by taking on board a said dream, or I can bring about good realities by doing the same.  Dreams are not about the future - they are about...  stuff... shit... that has happened, is happening and CAN (not guaranteed to happen) happen.  I feel as if I am learning while explaining this, so forgive if it sounds a little... daft!

I could also add, that the Rings of Saturn might not be completely unrelated to what I am describing here.

Trx, Up Above

Hi Palmer. It's good to hear someone else having the same kind of experience. I had one where I was floating in space and could see planets below me some with names, so when I realised I was in a dream I looked at the names quick and remembered one called Ophelia Then I looked at the planet next to it and thought what's that yellow planet? Then all of a sudden it was like I teleported at a crazy speed straight into it's atmosphere, I saw rocks and ditches for a split sec before I entered some sort of hurricane instantly spinning me so fast I woke up and vomited like I experienced it for real. I woke up in the morning and searched online only to find Ophelia is actually a small moon of uranus and the yellow planet turns out to be Saturn...it changed colour a month before I had this dream and I didn't know any of this until I researched it.

Any thoughts?
