I think I nearly astral projected...

Posted over 12 years ago , by Cyberblade

Hey people, just sharing a little experience I had with astral projection.

I tried Enraged Master's 'DEVASTATING POST' technique and was surprised with the results.

I first lay down and put my neck in a bent but comfortable position, focused on my third eye and started breathing 1/2 breathes. After about 5-10 mins I started to see patterns on the backs of my eyelids, I took it that these are visual hallucinations as a part of sleep paralysis, although I didn't try to move any part of my body and didn't hear any auditory hallucinations, making me think I wasn't in sleep paralysis. but still I carried on. I got to feeling the vibrations, but not all over my body just in parts. Then after that a bright light came behind my eyelids even though the room was pitch black, and I thought I should separate. So I tried the magnetic sphere exit method and combined it with just a simple rising up method, I felt like all of a sudden my whole body was made of lead and I was really heavy. Then it suddenly all went and I sat up, opened my eyes and my vision was a bit blurry.

Thats it!

If you can offer any help on what I'm doing wrong then please reply, also if you want to reply anyway of course!  :)

Hello , thanks for trying my post , you havent done anything wrong , instead you shouldnt use any exit techniques before you are parslysed , no matter what you feel or what you see , once you are parslysed start to use it , other than that everything you did was right :)

I think I really need to read Enraged masters post!  It sounds very close, if not exactly to what I teach called the "Noticing Exercise"!  Very nice.  :)

The point where you said you felt like your body was made of lead and you were really heavy.  That's PERFECT!  That's your body falling asleep, and you being consciously aware of it!

At that point, just keep doing what you're doing... continue focusing on whatever it is you're focusing on.  The "TRICK" here is to *allow* the shift to occur... unfortunately, it's not something you can force, because the more you try to force it, the more your mind goes "NO WAI JOSE!".

I completely agree with EM, you really are doing fine.  And yes, you were very close!!!

Echo, I'm Here for Inner Awakening

Sometimes I think I'm not paralyzed, when I actually am. So if I start to suspect I am, I move quickly.

Also, to me it sounds like maybe you did separate. Even if you think you moved your physical body, get up. Get out of bed and do some reality checks. I've had plenty of time when I thought I was awake and in my physical body when all of a sudden I start floating or something.
