Took me a while to realize what happened and this happened years ago, but as I learned more about astral projection I was able to figure it out just recently.
Have you ever had those moments when you are lying in bed and as you are falling to sleep you all of a sudden feel like you are about to fall? Well, that is your astral body attempting to take its step out.
When I was younger this happened to me, I fell out of my bed or so it felt like and ended up with my back against the wall, vision as blurry as can be but it all felt so real I had no idea what was going on. As my vision cleared up, I stared into the hallway which contained a small shot of light. As I look into this hallway in confusion there is a shadow being that comes out of the works of my parents' room but not only that its shape and figure is 100% equivalent to my mothers. I sit there and look as it is walking by and yell mom, the shadow being stops and stares at me for a short time and then I yell "mom"! again and the shadow started walking away as quickly as possible I get up to take chase it disappears into the kitchen just completely gone! Next thing I know I black out and end up waking up in the am.
For the longest, I wondered about that time that happened nearly 12 years ago but my current research on Astral Projection has made it all appear clear.
