Did I nearly have a Astral Projection

Posted about 12 years ago , by Skyler1234

Im looking to know if I had a near astral projection experience this is hard to explain and sorry if I made some spelling mistakes in advance and just to say I prayed for protection and asked my user guide for help to thanks.

Ok I was looking up about astral travel for some time now on the internet and have been reading other peoples own experience's so I took an interest in it and decided to try it out so I went do it in my parents room because its the quietest room in are house which it is very noisy all the time so the first thing I knew about astral travel to get to your astral body your body has to be very relaxed and comfortable
so I tried to meditate lying down straight to make my blood to run smoothly without having anything under my head for comfort which I don't do and just to let you know I can get very relaxed easily for some reason anyway back to the story I did the breath meditation which I prefer and while I was doing it I managed to get my body a bit numb when I do this but I kept saying relax to myself and then my body got real heavy for the first time this has happened after that I noticed that my neck and head was still a bit stiff and try'd to loosen by letting go of the tension and just when I let go I felt this pulse like a beat and tingle that was going through all over me getting faster and stronger and I felt like it was beating then I felt like there was something hovering a bit over me but I decided to stop and give it a try again when I go to bed when there is less noise and no one will wake me up when I try it again anyway can anyone let me know if i had a near astral projection experience thanks.

Welcome skyler,

You were almost in a near Astral Projection state which is called sleep paralysis.
Just go with it, "I decided to stop and give it a try again" don't stop it when you get
to this point again, just let go. You will be out if you calm yourself a little at this point.

Just go on reading the technique threads in the forum, you will gain some more
knowledge on this & you can easily astral project.

Read this technique to get some faster results:

Hope this helps, feel free to post :)

Thanks for the reply I try'd it at night time but had no susses do to the amount of noise and bother playing his computer so loud im going to try it in the morning when not many people are about any tips on getting my self in a deep trance fast by using the breathing method.

When I use the breath method I would count from 5 to 0 every time I exhale and say relax at the end it helps sometimes and at times it dosent do much but just make my body in a light trance where every part of my body is not heavy but numb thanks in advance.

Hi, I hope you read the post which I mentioned.
your breathing should be like:
Inhale "1", Exhale "1"
Inhale "2", Exhale "2"
and so on.........
Count even if its 100 or anything, you will surely get into trance :)
And you should breath only half. not a deep breath.
Any you should try this only in early morning at 4AM or 5AM, so that no one will be awake and you will be in deep silence :)

skyler1234, I'm Here for Inner Awakening

Hi I have read the forum that you linked to me and it was helpful I decided to change my way of doing my meditation as you described breathing method (Inhale "1", Exhale "1" Inhale "2", Exhale "2") and what I read on the forum about inhale half of what you breath in which works fast on me I notice my body go numb first thing I do it but I seem to cant get to the vibrations part again I manage to get  my body heavy and my legs are a bit heavy it's hard to notice what your legs feel like but when I get to this state I don't know what to do next my head twitches from time to time which is a bit annoying and can you tell me what the best time to do it at night or morning thanks.

The best time is to sleep on 11 PM and then waking up at 3 Am and stay awake for 10 minutes (( drink water, walk at home)) and then going back to sleep, this time is the best time ever.
