Did I astral project? No one can tell me what I did so far?

Well, By reading your experience I felt that you Projected to Astral Plane.
We humans have multidimensional body. each in a plane. Like one in Physical, Etheric and one in Astral and so on.
So you projected to Astral Plane, so when you are in Astral Plane you cannot see your physical body. I'm practicing Astral Projection from long time and I have seen my physical body very few times only.

You can see your Physical body only if you project your spirit body into Etheric Plane. Etheric acts as a buffer zone between Astral Plane and Physical Plane. If you are having more positive energy then you cannot get into Etheric Plane. People with bad thoughts and negative energy will be projected into Etheric plane.

Maybe when you were in Astral Plane, your energy got down and you fell into Ethric plane where you met your friend's Ethric body there.

Hope I'm not confusing. Feel free to ask if its confusing :)

Also! Someone explained to me in another way, but I do like your insight! It helps me understand it more. Um, the other person who responded on another forum said:

"castlecrumpett" That was a good first experience. Any of the three basic types do not “need” to be visible to the average viewer. They are still Out-Of-Body-Spirit-Projections, and their form depends on your intention.

These classifications are mine from observing and teaching art students to use these types of out-of-body-projections as art tools. All of these three types can be used to view/see into the inside of things as well as the normal viewing the outside of things. 1.] The most common one written about is Remote Viewing. Many writers put this type of projection into a separate catagory, but the techniques of projection are very similar to Astral and Astrol projections. With RV you project your senses, your spirit, without a body form. This is what I think you experienced. Most writers, even experienced RV’ers do not understand that during RV, interaction between individual spirits, symbolic intentions and between different RV’ers can take place. Any time I go out “traveling”, I make sure I am shielded. Occasionally you can run into energy vampires. A simple energy shield with any of the forms is good protection.”
