Deja Vu

Deja Vu

I had my first experience of Deja Vu yesterday...it was shocking how pin point accurate the details of the place were in comparison to my dream. Before i begin rambling like an excited idiot, i suppose i should explain the details.

Sometime ago, i can't be sure how long ago, i had this dream. In this dream i was in this PC gaming shop. I had never been there before but i could tell that it was almost full, but all the people were blurry. I DID however remember the basic design of the store, where the lines of computers were, where the smoking section was, where the front desk was. I remembered being there with people, however at the time i didnt know them and they as well were just blurry to me, what truely stood out was the place itself....all the way down to the cooler that held the soda's and the chip/noodle rack.
Well at that point i woke up and....went about my day...and at least 2 or 3 months have passed since this dream. It's been so long that i wrote off the vivid dream as just that and forgot about it....well at least i thought i did.

Last night i walked into the computer gamer shop from my dreams....i knew it right when i walked in the door. There were small differences....but all the major signs were spot on. The smoking area was where it was in my dream, the rows of computers were where they were in my dream, ALMOST every seat was full, just as it had been in my dream. And the front desk was the exactly where it was in my dream...even the small snack rack....in my dream the place was much darker, and of course this time all the people werent blurry and i knew who i was there with.
It was an almost awkward experience, my friends brother was showing me the place and as he's giving me the tour it was like none was needed....i already knew where everything was! I of course didnt say anything, i didnt want to look crazy! haha.....the dream came back to me instantiously as i walked through the door, i'm glad none of them were looking at me because my face had to look startled and excited.

That's it...maybe you guy's have some words of wisdom for me? Hope you enjoyed reading my experience.

Yes i enjoyed reading your experience very much, However..

I don't believe in what people calls Deja Vu, Maybe it does really exist but im not one of those who believes these things, I think the moment you dreaming you were astral projecting and you was conscious, And when you went there in real life, you saw it exactly the same, Because maybe you was there 3 months ago from the dream and untill the day you walked into that place nothing changed! (( Nobody moved any object etc...)) But honestly? I never believe of deja vu, Everyone have his believes, But who knows! Maybe you are right and i am wrong :)

Best regards,
Salah

In all honesty I really didn't know WHAT to call the experience. Deja Vu was the closest thing to it that I could describe. I like your explanation of the experience but am kind of withdrawn to calling it an astral projection. I know you don't have to be conscious during the AP experience to have one, otherwise we'd all have memorable experiences every night when we went to sleep. BUT....I don't like to count experiences where I don't have control as Astral Projections. I have vivid dreams all the time, this one happened to come true. However I had no control over the experience, it was ever popular 'movie' experience where I was just watching it unfold. Maybe i'm just being stubborn in my goal to be able to consciously Astral Project and should start counting my other extremely vivid dreams as Astral Projections too.

Yeah but from my side i say its possible to be an astral projection, Also, Who said you have to be in full control of your experience and they shouldnt be vivid? If you still can remember what happened its called an astral projection,  but there are PARTS of astral projection, Such as (( Astral projection - Conscious projection - Unconscious projection)) and like that, Conscious is when you AP while knowing whats happening, Unconscious is when you nearly remember nothing at all, And astral projection is a normal projection like what this forum is talking about, My point is even if its actually blurry, it still related to astral projection as its a section of it! , anyhow, my word still stands, i think this is an astral projection, and the proof that it is not a dream is because you already saw it in real life, dreams are no more than events in your mind, astral projects are the real things that happens in life, What do you say? :)

Good point....i'll do better to treat the experiences that I wouldn't call astral projections before with more respect. They've obviously proved their importance! Thank you for your help :D.

Deja Vu
I had my first experience of Deja Vu yesterday...it was shocking how pin point accurate the details of the place were in comparison to my dream. Before i begin rambling like an excited idiot, i suppose i should explain the details.

I had these experiences - and it is deja vu, but what i call "waking deja vu". Deja vu means already seen, so like the others mention, you were there already, just not yet physically. About few years ago, I started having these deju vus, BUT i also remembered where i'd seen it before, in my dreams! As they progressed, they became more waking deja vus. I was very aware, I'd dreamt it the night before. I think it started more because i was unconsciously projecting to events or things that were coming up, as if to see whats ahead, like on a map? What to expect kind of thing. The more you keep track of these things, the more you will notice they happen, or you become more aware you are having them BEFORE they happen! It is like you are becoming aware & remembering what your astral self is doing.

It is also said that the more deja vus you have, that you are on the right path,or the path you chose to take in this life. So its slightly reassuring at times, even if a bad day deja vu.
