I believe in my childhood I might have experienced an accidental astral projection. One night, when I was 7 or 8 years old, I suddenly awoke to this high pitched ringing noise. Not really a bell sound but more of a electronic tone. I attempt to find where the noise is coming from. I run down the hall to the living room and it seems the noise only gets louder. I check on my dad who is sound asleep.But why didn't I wake him up? I am really scared at this point. I go back to my bed where my brother is sound asleep on the top bunk. I curl up in a ball, cry out but only silence, like my voice is gone. I don't know what happened after this but it seemed I buried my head in my knees and fell asleep quickly, almost like passing out. Has anyone experienced anything like this?

Welcome to the astral family, if you can remember the scenes more vivid than any of your dreams, then this absolutely an astral projection in your childhood. It is common that you cannot talk or shout when you are out of your body or sometimes in your dream too. Even I had a similar experience in my childhood where I was in that dream i was in my school and suddenly some ghost came and scared me, I suddenly came woke up but I couldn't move my body nor I could shout. That was my first sleep paralysis. That really scares. :)

mmm sounds like tinnitus which is a medical condition where u here high frequency tones i know about it because i deal with it all the time. thats just what it sounds like to me i could be wrong though.
Hi, everyone, I'm new and I have some questions about childhood projection. The past few years I have been experiencing what I think is astral projection. It happens at the weirdest times and I can't control it. I'm currently fourteen yrs. old and my parents' are VERY religious. One time, after things had happened multiple times before, my mom, sister, and I were driving to the library and one moment I was fully conscious and then BOOM I am outside the car and it is moving away from me. I have tried to tell my parents but they just think that I am being "very imaginative". Also, can this be related to stress? -Josiah
