Just a clarification: TOI mean Times of India - A newspaper in India

Thoughts:
Thought is generally a product of our Mental ability. Thoughts consists of reasons and rational process. We try to use some prior knowledge or prior experience to building it. Thought occurs through our consciousness.

Intuition
Intuition is an act where we sense something without any reason or through any perceptions. Its completely different. Its a knowledge acquired through Extra Sensory Perception.
Intuition is like acquiring some knowledge suddenly without any rational process or reason behind it.

For example:

Daily we travel through vehicle. But we have the fear that something may go wrong, like the vehicle may get accident. But one day we will get an intuition that today the vehicle will surely meet an accident and we meet an accident exactly the same way.

Intuition is like keeping some strong belief without any reason behind it. Thought is just knowledge acquired through a perception or a reason

Hope This helps :)

It depends on how it really affects your emotional part or how much you trust it. So stronger you feel emotional or more you trust will make the intuition more stronger :)

Actually, Intuition is one of the most powerful abilities we have. The best way to develop your intuition power is to trust your intuition. When you trust your thought without any reason or rational process behind it, then Its an Intuition. So if you don't trust your intuition, then its just a random thought and coincidence :)

The difference is how we consider it. The person who thinks spiritually will consider a certain thought as intuition, But skeptics will always consider a intuition as a random thought.

Oh Sorry, I'm talking about Skeptics right ?

(For your Information)  :P
This is what the skeptics say:

" Remnants of perception, such as a movement occurring out of the corner of your eye or subtle sound that would normally be ignored as background noise, could occur simultaneously. While these events could be filtered as irrelevant by the mind, their coincidental synchronicity could lead to sudden assumptions about one's surroundings "

**I would say 'thoughts' are everywhere about everything whereas 'intuition' is personal.

Yeah, What does it mean to 'intuit' something?  Is that the same as 'thinking' something?

Intuition is gaining some sort of evidence of the ethereal 'world' around you without any conscious thinking.  Intuition is like reading the invisible placard or sign telling you something.**

And the question remains, 'Are there thoughts in outer space?'

I would say 'thoughts' are everywhere about everything whereas 'intuition' is personal.
