Meditation being introduced in schools

Posted about 12 years ago , by Tyler Durden

Although it is a new concept in our society, is an activity that is increasingly being introduced in schools internationally (USA, UK, Germany, Switzerland, etc..). The scientific community, educators and psychologists agree that the practice helps the development of emotional and social intelligence.

The daily meditation practice increases the power of the presence, concentration, attention, learning, eventually renews and increases the body's defenses, eliminates stress, anxiety, tension, balancing and strengthening emotional state esteem.
The aim is to develop a clear consciousness, loving, peaceful, harmonious that can bring every moment of life, summarizing in a nutshell a full awareness.

There are many types of meditation but those who are used to more children and adolescents are active practices like ashtanga yoga (breath synchronized movement), hatha yoga , mantras (songs and sounds with the voice), mandalas (geometric), chakra (display and active exercises DZOGHEN (conscious contemplation now, as is the body, if you feel tired or tensions , watching the breath while walking, is the awareness of the everyday), Isis (eye contact).
