Re: TIPS

Hi.  I'm new here and so I'm just sort going through some posts.  I'll tell you what always worked for me as a trigger.  In my very first lucid dream, I put my hands up about six or so inches in front of my face.  Every time I felt like I might be losing control, I'd repeat it.  It got so that I'd just automatically do it every few minutes within these lucid experiences.  It seemed to keep me grounded.  I will say that my first lucid dreams were wake induced lucid dreams.  I had never had one from within a dream before.  I was having these WILDs every day and was having the experiences where I'd feel as though I'd woken up but was actually still dreaming.  I began doing this hand check during the day when I was awake because I found it easier to tell the difference between when I thought I was awake and when I was actually awake if I did these checks during the day when I KNEW I was awake because until I started checking during the day it was really hard to tell.  I'd look at my hands very often in this same manner during the day and ask myself "am I dreaming?" even though I knew I wasn't.  This action started slipping over into regular dreams.  I'd find myself doing this action from a non-lucid state in a dream and it would immediately put my into a lucid state where I could have the control that lucid dreams always had for me.  An interesting note: I never had the same amount of control coming from a sleeping dream state as I did from a WILD...it was always more muddled and I had a harder time with control although it was definitely lucid.  From a dream I would have to sort of follow the dream I was already in to a point.  I found it harder to change my environment and the like.  From a WILD I would have almost complete control.  I hope this is helpful.

A very easy astral projection teqnique involves lucid dreaming. I used this when first starting and I can honestly say it works EVERY TIME  :D. If you have a lucid dream and you want to project, run very fast (this puts pressure on your astral body) and you will float out of your body and gain conciousness in the astral realm. It is said that every night you astral project unconciosly, this teqnique works because dreams take place in sub-planes. The experiences in these sub-planes requires alot of energy to shift to a higher vibration and uses some waking conciousness in order to attain the higher vibration. Try it!  :)

By the way !! Rubbing your hands together avoid you from getting out of lucid dreams by 90%!! I dont know why but it really works!
