Walking around

Last night I was trying to meditate myself into sleep paralysis. My mind seems to frequently wake up during paralysis when that's my intention, but it does always seem like at one point it fell asleep. Is this normal?

Now my other question is about the part that comes after sleep paralysis. Last night when I woke up to the paralysis I decided to try out different techniques I had read about to project. One thing I tried was this technique to imagine the feeling of falling backwards. It felt amazing, like totally butterflies. I mean it really felt like I let myself fall backwards on the edge of a cliff. So after I tried that, I just kept moving around ie sitting up then falling backwards, then rolling to my side trying to leave my body. I was going too fast though, and didn't really know what sensation I was looking for. But finally I rolled over on my side, and stood up by my bed. My eyes were open. It felt like sleep walking not astral projection. I felt like even though my body was up and moving, it felt weird, uncoordinated, and almost asleep. I still felt the vibrations. Anyway I just layed back down buzzing for a while then woke myself up.

Can your physical body move during the vibration part? Should I have tested it somehow, like look at the clock or try to turn on the lights. I'm always weary of thinking too much during the vibration part. I just thought to myself, if I'm sleep walking, I could fall down the stairs. But this morning i'm thinking, maybe should have tried to do something. I was on the ground, like I wasn't floating or anything.

Yeah , i dont know why its like that , i dont like it too , in astral body you move and its like.... I dont know how to explain it because you shall try it before you get it , but it feels like your eyes closed but you still can see from them but they are closed O.o its like walking while sleeping but you can see , its third eye i think no? We always see with our third eyes in AP or what?
