should i try astral projection?

i really want to try this but i am a bit scared of paranormal things. i dont want to come across things like demons because i am a bit scared if them. i really want to try this because it seems so cool and it seems like a wonderful experience. so should i try this or should i stay away from this? please help me any help would be appreciated thank you
