Fighting in astral plane

They say you can fight negative entities with a sword or any weapon you like ... Is that true ..

It is actually fun ;)
I haven't tried in Astral Plane, but I always fight someone in my Lucid Dream :P
When I get lucid in a dream, I fear a lot that some one may hurt me, this turns people around me to fight with me, they try to catch me and I used to run a lot, but after running in a few dreams, I started fighting back. I started fighting with hands :)
Sometimes it hurts them, sometimes it won't. If it doesn't hurt them,  I will simply quit and I will wake up :)
I hate fighting :P
