Astral Projection Question

Hey guys I am writing this today because I have an experience I can't quite define, obe definitely but beyond that I am not sure. I will explain what happened. I was on Facebook on my laptop in my bedroom playing games and just relaxing is was in the afternoon, I started getting really drowsy and was nodding in an out of sleep so I decided to meditate and maybe Astral Project. I have experience with meditation and have had many attempts at astral projection but most times I hear a voice in my head telling me I should wait and that I'm not ready yet. I now understand why because at the time of those unsuccessful attempts I had a lot of misconceptions about astral projection I thought I would just magically get pushed out of my body and it was as simple as that and I would be flying around in no time. Close to the time of the experience I started being able to differentiate between moving my "astral body" and my physical body, anyway when I tried to astral project that time I was so so close I felt my legs rising and my arms rising and had a swaying sensation and unlike my previous attempts I wasn't subject to anxiety, however for some reason I fell down.. I heard in my head you are ready just go for it, I was exuberant and planned to try again before bed but for the mean time I just fell asleep. My friend ended up coming over and I got distracted I ended up just going to bed that night really tired without giving it a second go. The next thing I remember happening is waking up outside my window early morning floating above the ground, everything was much brighter and colors seemed to exude with beauty almost rainbow like I flew up and kept going for around 5 seconds. Next to my house is a set of 2 story houses that were recently built I only half remember seeing them there and I am not completely sure if they were as the experience only lasted a whole of about 10 seconds. The whole experience was realer than anything and I seem to recall it a lot better than as if I was in a dream. After that the next thing I remember is my Mum waking me up. I'm not completely sure if what I experienced was astral projection or if it was just a really vivid dream; either way my intuition has encouraged me to share this and have it viewed from a different perspective.
