I can get this feeling really quickly if I use a mantra to attempt AP ( I first experienced it during yoga & meditation practice I been doing a few years) - WIth focus on mantra, losely on pineal/crown chakra, the space I take up becomes less clear, like I'm floating/falling. The edges of my body dissolve and I have less awareness of where my body is. The darkish oval infront of my eyes becomes more of a space my awareness inhabits than something I look at. Also, sometimes the lower and upper 2 chakra areas inside my body sort of shake or pulse. When I do visualisation AP techniques(eg rope), I do not get this sensation. So, A> should I pursue techniques that give these sensations, then ignore them when they arrive B> are they a distraction and should be avoided entirely C> are they irrelevant and it makes no difference if I get them or not?
Hello Neil,
- should I pursue techniques that give these sensations, then ignore them when they arrive (Yes, you should. these sensations are normal and most widely called vibrations)
- Are they a distraction and should be avoided entirely. (No, they are not distractions, but you have to use that to exit your body)
- Are they irrelevant and it makes no difference if I get them or not? (yeah, it's irrelevant, even if you don't get it, you can astral project)
Hope this helps.

Thanks Anthony, that does help. Which exit techniques work for you? For my only AP so far I woke from sleep and immediately rolled off my bed without even really trying.
