Has anyone noticed that when your running it's almost the same as meditating? When u focus on your breath so much there is point where you forget about pain and your mind just goes blank.

Your focus? , here, if you have ipad download Super Hexagon game, or even play it online, it increases your focus INCREDIBLY, if you use computers then look for it on google :) , it will help you to focus on one thing
About your meditation, 5 minutes is not really a meditation, because your body has just relaxed, but if you try more than 20 mins you will see the difference :)
I would like to add too, try to meditate and after that play super hexagon instantly check your new results :)
keep your mind occupied by counting your breath. For example: inhale 1 exhale 1 inhale 2 exale 2... and so on and so fourth and just count every breath. You could also repeat in your mind: "mind awake, body asleep" with every inhale and exhale. This tricks your mind into thinking your thinking nothing and helps you to achieve that altered state of conciousness even faster- and keeps you awake :)
Well.. Look mindscalt , if you meditate while you are tired you will sleep faster but you wint concenerate like while energized , because once you meditate while tired your mind will just want to sleep as its exhausted , so its really harder to meditate while energized but chances are WAY more.

Is it easy to meditate when your tired then when you are fresh during the day?
I notice this because i most of meditation have been during the time I'm tired and easy to lucid dream and remember my dreams, but when i mediate without being so tired it is kinda hard to focus. Do i need to practice meditation during the state when I'm not tired to get used to it?

Because you are practicing meditation regularly, you will encounter such things more often now on, So try to use some Astral Projection techniques to increase it even more :)
Reading your experience, If felt that it is a sleep paralysis where you missed your astral projection by going unconscious again :)
