Re: Suicide and NDE

A person that makes no sound, takes no action, is all energy.  When I dream, I have no body; I am all that I see.  The characters are my feelings clothed in memories of people, places, and things.  Events are melodies.  Motivation.  Love.  Understanding.  These are the frequencies.  I do understand that video.

I like it :)

I believe that we attract the experiences our souls need to learn a specific "something".
If we cannot deal with it and kill ourselves we have not yet learnt that specific lesson. So the lesson will come back to us till we have learnt the lesson. And if we kill ourselves we might one day realize that it will not work. One day we will be tired of the pain.
Even though some experiences are painful, the pain tells us something about the experience. It tries to teach us to do it different. And maybe one day we learn that suicide is not the answer. It never is an answer. Suicide doesn't solve anything. Suicide is like running away from something that tries to teach us something. We have to face our pains/fears and learn from it. Especially the difficult emotional and painful experiences. They are the most valuable ones we can have.

Thanks for the video. It is beautiful. It reminds me of the fact that no matter how much pain we feel one day we can forgive ourselves and others for the pain and understand that the pain had a purpose. Everything we experience has a purpose.
In the end we are all light and energy experiencing a human existence. We just have to remember and learn how to love. Even in the darkest and most painful hour, we have to remember to feel love. It will heal.
And one day we will be back "home". Wherever "home" might be. And if we look back we can only smile.

Hello Orion,
Really a neat reply. Every Pain has a purpose in it, To teach us something we want to learn in this life.
Suicide is not an ultimate answer. If they have guts to die, then why not to live ?
Living is simpler than dieing :)

Thank you :)

I had a lot of problems/emotional pains when I was younger. And one day I had to decide whether to live or to die. The pain was worse and the only way out was death, I thought. But the other way out was right through all the emotional pain. And that was the only "right" way.

And at that moment I realized I wanted to live, but until that moment, because of all the fears that kept me from really living, really being me, I realize I had been dead all the time. I had to start being alive, just like being asleep and realizing you can wake up.
And I am really glad that I am still here. I still chose to life and try to heal.

Good decision Sandra :)

Everyone in this world has problems, Not even a single life without it.
We are here for a purpose, How can we escape without doing the work ?

Praveen

From OP: "Now according to several accounts I've seen, people who commit suicide are given a choice; either to stay or go back."

Sorry to dig up an older post and all but this thread I found interesting. You mention people who commit suicide have a choice to stay or go back? this may be true with people who have sustained bodily injuries which allow them a chance of survival. For example if you were to cut your wrists there would be a 70% or something chance you would die but also a chance you could survive providing medical attention was there in time, but in an instance where if you were to say jump off a skyscraper you would be facing CERTAIN DEATH with no percentage of survival. I don't think anyone in the history of the human race has survived something like that so would this not prove it wrong about the choice of going back or not? you would have no choice because you would be a pancake on the sidewalk with no chance of coming back.

Your views please.

Welcome to the forum Looper :)

Yes, you are right. Here when someone is jumping from a skyscraper will have a 100% chance to live and 100% chance to die.
He can always have a chance to live before he jumps off from the building :)
If he is jumping from the building, then he will never have the thought of getting back. If he has it, he never tries for it :)

Praveen

What if he realises that he has made a mistakeas he's falling and wishes to get back but it's too late?

I can assure you the one falling from the building will never want to return to this world again.
