I was nervous, please advise?

Hi,
Great to meet you all!
I just had my first projection that wasn't dreamlike. Now I am trying to make some sense of it so if anyone has any advice i will be very happy. Is this the right place to talk about it?

I used to suffer nightmares and learned to control them with lucid dreaming. I used to think I was projecting and having really powerful and beautiful experiences.
But... Something has happened. The last week or so i have been drawn into looking at the world around me, politically and personally. Something like an inner awareness of the oneness and scope of the universe was somehow triggered in me. I have been somehow awakened if that makes sense? I no longer fear death, and I am 100% sure that the soul and body are separate entities. I know that after death the soul will carry on, it is beautiful and liberating. I feel free in a way never though possible to me before!

So literally 20 mins ago I had my first full astral projection and i immediately came to this forum for advise.
Does the following sound familiar to anyone?

I got the sensation, the rush like a roller coaster. The i saw this kinda coiled tube with lots of light and decided to just go with all the sensation and i was pulled in the same direction the coil was pointing. There was kind of a popping noise and suddenly i was floating in this kinda 'cosmic soup'. I was really aware of life around me and in me. It made me feel nervous. First everything was dark and it felt like i was somehow opening my eyes and things slowly got brighter and brighter but everything was very blurred. I looked down at my hands, they were blurred and shadowy against the light. I think I only had 4 fingers each hand but not sure (3 and 1 thumb). I didnt know what to do, so I nervously said ''Hello Cosmos''
At this point a strong yellow light orb with a presence appeared from below my left hand. It was about half the size of me and kinda nudge me, non aggressively, A bit like a big fish brushing past you whilst floating in a deep ocean. This made me kinda freak out and i pulled myself out and slammed back into the physical world as my skype was pinging.

I dont know what to make of all this, the experience was mindblowing but it also scared me. I really want to talk with someone about this who wont think im crazy. If anyone can spare a few words of advice,( i am feeling very confused at the moment for what to make of this) then i will be infinitely grateful for your time.

Many thanks in Advance!
Mike

Hi Mike,
Welcome to the forum & I apologize for the late reply :)
Many in this forum has experienced the same which you have mentioned above.
Of course you aren't crazy ;D

As you said, Soul continues its journey ever after the body dies, so no need to fear for anything.
Always a new things scares us, I think this is not your first experience. But it takes a lot of practice to get rid of fear :)

View gets blurred for 2 things, If you are near to your physical body or if you are having low energy.
So, try to stay as far as you can from your physical body to get your views clear.

Sometimes when you are in astral plane or lucid dream, the fingers or your hands looks wired, no need to worry for that :)

My small advice is:
1. do not fear
2. stay calm
3. just explore

Hope this helps, let me know if you want to know anything more :)

Regards,
Praveen

Engy, I'm Here for Inner Awakening

Hi Praveen!

Many thanks for replying I really appreciate your time! I will take your advice, perhaps i was low energy due to nervousness? Hopefully next time I will enter with less fear and more clarity. I am hoping to ask a question to the cosmos next time i am in this situation.

Also perhaps i have projected before? There have been what i thought were lucid dreams, they often started with the strong sense of falling or flying upwards, and often i had to push myself out of the building i was in(or sometimes a representation of the building) , through windows or ceilings. So I have another question if you have time... Are there different levels of astral planes?
Because this particular moment felt different to anything else in the past. Many times more intense, it felt like i was being born into the infinity of the universe if that makes sense? Almost as if i couldn't have been further from anything physical or my body, it has changed my whole perspective on everything.

Please let me know your thoughts? I have some questions i want to propose to the main forums so i will hopefully meet you there too!

Regards,
Mike

Low energy is due to stress or maybe nervousness too, or lack of concentration. :)
I would advice you not to ask few questions like, what is life ? or something similar to that. Coz you will be pushed back to the physical body. You will get to know those after few experience. You have already understood that only our physical body dies and the soul is eternal :)

I don't see much difference between astral projection and lucid dreaming, you can read more about those 2 here:

Yes there are different level of astral planes, as of Indian holy book 'Bhagavatha' There are 7 planes of existence, each plane has 7 sub planes and each sub planes has 7 sub planes. Correct me if I'm wrong

So yes, astral plane has 7 sub planes according to that holy book :)

Let me know, if you have more questions :)

Praveen
