Hi everyone. I decided to come here to find some people to talk with similar experiences.
I've always had very memorable dreams, and quite frequently lucid dreams. And for the past four years or so, I've been able to leave my physical body (though I'm not sure it's actually astral projection as I had never left my bedroom - but I'll get to that). I would usually feel a force pulling me up and out of my body - limbs first - and on some occasions I'd be able to get the rest of my body to follow. Often though my astral body (??) would not be strong enough, and I'd feel like a puddle on the floor of my bedroom. I could fit into small corners of my bedroom, like behind my door, but I couldn't pull myself to stand up or even to make a full "body". Other times I'd be able to sit up in bed, or move my arms and legs, but not leave my bed. I always hear buzzing and sometimes I actually hear music, too. When it is over and I am back to my physical body, I am always really aware of the silence.
Today I was able to float up to the ceiling, and I was touching the part of the wall where the ceiling meets the wall, which was when I knew things had really started happening. I was fascinated by the wall, but moreso by what it meant that I was doing it. All of a sudden I knew that all of these spiritual things I had thought about were actually real. It was sort of scary but amazing at the same time. I thought about how to leave my bedroom and reach somewhere else, and an ornate gold door appeared in the corner of my room, which I floated towards, but I didn't actually make it out. It looked blue out there. I don't know what that means.
I'm sort of glad I didn't make it through the door because I think I need to do some more learning and find some more answers first. This isn't really something I've ever TRIED to do - it just happens.
I'd love to hear peoples thoughts and guidance.
