Hey, I'm new here but I would like to make some Astral friends to talk about this stuff!

I started to become interested in the topic months ago, reading a few books and doing some research. After many attempts, I managed to have OBEs and more lucid dreams, but then everyday life and its distractions made me put all that on the back burner. My interest, however, has never waned, and I would like to be able to achieve astral travel whenever I desire, because I feel I need it to grow in every aspect of my life and to broaden my knowledge of life and the other forms of life that influence us and maybe to reach God. I don't know anyone more expert than me with whom I can discuss and exchange messages, so I decided to join this forum to find some souls willing to help me. Thank you.

I have had many experiences since I have been a child. I have experience pyschometry, spirits, OOBs, pre and post cognition and other types of phenomenon. 2 weeks ago, my wife witnessed me talking in 3 distinctly different voices while I was sleep - like three people conversing. I created a two coloring books with sort of match some of the dreams I have had over the years - oh another thing, I am 56 and can still remember being as young as six months old.

For me, this kind of communication is a new paradigm. I grew up with this ability (and others) as an infant, and since I was in a fundamentalist Christian household, I was told my gifts were evil and wholly unacceptable. I learned to hold it all in, for what choice did I have growing up? None. (That's the short story.) Therefore, I learned and endured through my night experiences privately (for the most part) my entire life. I operated in the mainstream community, essentially leading a double life for 60 years. I'm past all that mess and I'm pretty open about it, enough to begin doing a podcast. There's a lot involved over the years, and I feel the need to share with the wider world to those that will listen. There are all kind of spiritual dynamics at play, and peoples in the universe. PS: one thing ive started doing that I never thought I'd find the time for is meditation, I always thought it was really complicated but its really simple actually, and surprisingly enjoyable once you let the process consume you. Now I dont know if its going to help with astral projection but its certainly teaching me about the subtle parts of me that i dont often pay attention to.

Meditating surely will help, but I suggest you give it time, It is important to keep patience in the process and more importantly, not give up.

You do not have to shut down, instead, try to find ways to control it, you may have come from the bloodline of psychics, that would mean you have those inherent in you already and it's more of learning the ways slowly even if there is no one to teach you, it is okay to learn by making mistakes. I wouldn't suggest calling spirits without a better understanding of such things. Instead, start with navigating in your dream lucidly, control the environment, learn from the people in your dream / astral world.

I dream very vivid dreams. Some with exceptional messages and others that leave me with nothing but questions. But a common vision I have and feeling is of roads and highways maybe like Escher. But these visions and dreams seem that I'm finding my way back. I'm just curious, does anyone else have a feeling or experience getting back home yo their body? I'd appreciate any experiences or any dreams like situations with reoccurring pathways or roads. Thanks!
